JCMobTech LLC built The Matching Game as a free app. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, and disclosed when you use The Matching Game.
The Matching Game is available on multiple platforms. Some privacy practices and third-party services differ between the Android and iOS versions of the app. Those differences are described below.
The Matching Game stores certain game information on your device, such as game progress, total score, selected themes, and game settings, so that the game can function and remember your preferences.
The app also uses third-party services that may collect information as described in this policy.
The Android version of The Matching Game is designed for a mixed audience, including children and adults. It uses an age check to apply appropriate privacy and advertising settings.
Users may enter their date of birth or continue without providing their age. When a date of birth is entered, it is used to determine the appropriate audience category and privacy settings. The date of birth itself is not stored by The Matching Game or sent by the app to JCMobTech LLC or advertising providers.
The resulting audience category and completion of the age check are stored locally on the device so that the appropriate privacy and advertising settings can be applied on future launches.
If a user continues without providing an age, the Android app applies protective settings intended for users of unknown age.
The Matching Game uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements. Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect or process information such as:
This information may be used for purposes such as providing advertisements, analytics, measuring advertising performance, and fraud prevention and security.
On Android, advertising behavior is adjusted according to the user's age/audience classification and applicable privacy requirements. For children and users whose age is unknown, the app applies child-directed/protective advertising settings. The app also uses Google's consent tools where required to provide applicable privacy choices.
Google's information about privacy and advertising is available here: Google Privacy Policy .
The Android version of The Matching Game supports Google Play Games Services for leaderboard functionality.
If you use Google Play Games features, Google may process information associated with your Play Games profile, including a gamer or user identifier, game scores, gamer identity, and related game activity. The Matching Game submits your game score to Google Play Games when leaderboard functionality is used.
Google Play Games information is handled by Google according to Google's privacy policies and the privacy settings associated with your Google Play Games profile.
For more information, see: Google Privacy Policy .
The current iOS version of The Matching Game may use Apple's Game Center. If you are signed in to Game Center and use its related features, game score information may be submitted to Game Center.
Information handled through Game Center is subject to Apple's privacy practices and your Apple/Game Center settings.
For more information, see: Apple Privacy Policy .
The current native iOS version may retain or process information used by its existing functionality, including a device token and best-score information. Best scores may be synchronized with Game Center when the user is signed in and uses Game Center functionality.
The iOS version will be updated separately. Until that update is released, this section describes functionality that may still exist in the currently available iOS version.
Where required, The Matching Game uses Google's consent tools to request or manage privacy choices relating to advertising. Available choices may vary depending on your location, age/audience classification, and applicable law.
Where available, users can access advertising privacy options from within the app.
Third-party services used by the app may collect diagnostic and technical information when the app is used. This may include information such as IP address, device information, operating system information, app performance information, app launch information, and other diagnostic information.
This information may be used to operate, secure, analyze, troubleshoot, and improve services.
The Matching Game may be used by children as well as older users.
The Android version uses an age check so that appropriate privacy and advertising settings can be applied. For users identified as children, and for users whose age is unknown, the app applies protective advertising settings intended to limit the collection and use of information for advertising purposes.
The Matching Game does not require a child to provide a name, email address, phone number, or other direct contact information in order to play the game. The date of birth entered in the Android age check is used to determine the appropriate privacy treatment and is not retained by The Matching Game.
Third-party services used by the app may process information as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy and according to their own privacy policies.
If you are a parent or guardian and have questions or concerns regarding your child's privacy when using The Matching Game, please contact us using the information below.
We may use third-party service providers to operate or support features of The Matching Game. These providers may process information necessary to provide their services.
Third-party services used by one or more versions of the app include:
We use reasonable measures designed to protect information associated with the Service. Information transmitted by supported third-party services is generally transmitted using secure connections. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Game preferences and audience settings stored locally by The Matching Game remain on the device until they are reset, cleared, or the app is removed, subject to the behavior of the device's operating system.
Information processed by Google Play Games, Google Mobile Ads, Apple Game Center, or other third-party services is retained according to the applicable provider's policies and user settings.
Users can manage or delete applicable Google Play Games information through their Google account and Play Games settings, and applicable Game Center information through their Apple account and Game Center settings.
